City of Calgary is Transitioning to SAP Ariba e-Bidding Solution
The City of Calgary will be transitioning from MERX to SAP Ariba e-bidding solution in Q3 2022. Once complete, those Suppliers who wish to access and respond to City procurement opportunities will be able to do so free of charge through SAP Ariba Discovery. An exact system cutover date and training on the new system will be provided in the near future. Keep an eye on this space for updates. Effective March 7, 2022, the Contractor and Volunteer Vaccination Policy will be suspended. After that date, City contractors and suppliers performing work for The City will no longer be required to complete the COVID-19 Declaration Form.
Change to Bid Results Process (Construction only)
Effective Jan 10, 2022, The City of Calgary (The City) will discontinue the practice of publishing Unofficial Bid Results for Construction Request for Quotation (RFQ) opportunities. This decision was made out of concern that the process introduces unnecessary risk to The City and the integrity of the procurement process.
