The Preferred Proponent will be expected to provide electrical services to The City of Calgary’s Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Divisions, on an as-requested basis. This work will be conducted on assets with a voltage of over 750V. This work is anticipated to include equipment inspection, equipment testing, failure analysis, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance. The Supplier will also be expected to provide any other required services within the voltage category.
Wastewater Treatment (WWT) and Water Treatment (WT) require the Supplier to complete as-needed preventive maintenance work for high voltage, over 750V, electrical distribution assets. In addition, the Supplier will be expected to complete as-needed high voltage electrical work within WWT and WT. This work may include the supply of required parts, components, or equipment.
The highest rated proponent will be requested to enter an Agreement with The City for the provision of the Deliverables. The term of the Agreement may include a Proof of Concept, with an option in favour of The City to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an initial term of up to one (1) years. After the initial term, The City will have an option to renew the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for five (5) additional one (1) year terms for a potential total term of six (6) years.
