Description

The Scope of services include roof inspections, maintenance and replacement of shingle or flat roofs at CHC managed properties, in both occupied and unoccupied spaces.

CHC will assign the highest rated proponent for Service Type 1. CHC will assign up to three (3) highest rated proponents for Service Type 2. See below for further information on Service Types.

Depending upon the number and quality of bids received, CHC reserves the right to award less than three (3) Proponents

Service Types:
Type 1: Roofing Repairs up to $5,000 (excluding GST): Highest Rate Proponent

Type 2: Any roofing work over an estimated value of $5,000 but under $75,000 (excluding GST):

This service type requires the scope of work to be approved by a CHC Representative (3rd party Consultant) or Inspector before commencement. After approval, a CHC Representative or Inspector must also be in attendance at a start-up meeting scheduled by CHC.

Up to three (3) awarded proponents will be invited to quote on these projects.
Requests for Quotes will be issued by CHC

Event Note

CHC will be offering an optional pre-bid meeting for interested bidders. Any bidders that are interested in attending the virtual meeting are to email brent.laloge@calgary.ca with the name and email address of the attendee and an invitation will be sent to that email address. The virtual meeting will be held using the Microsoft Teams application.

This meeting agenda will cover general RFP expectations, such as scope, evaluation criteria, and mandatory bid requirements and will allow time for bidders to ask questions.

Verification of a valid Certificate of Recognition (“COR”) or Small Employer Certificate of Recognition (“SECOR”) or Safety Management System as acceptable by CHC, as per Attachment 2.

Certificate of Insurance ($5 Million CGL)
Proof of current COC Business License or active registered entity pursuant to Business Corporations Act (Alberta), or COC Business ID number
Signed and dated ADDENDUM(S), if applicable
